Sanjaya Mariwala Becomes New IMC President: Heralds New Era of Growth

Mr. Sanjaya Mariwala takes over as the new President of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, succeeding Mr. Samir Somaiya. With over four decades of experience, Mr. Mariwala aims to foster economic advancement and sustainable development in India through various initiatives and digital capabilities.

Mr. Sanjaya Mariwala has been appointed as the new President of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IMC), succeeding Mr. Samir Somaiya, who has completed his tenure. Mariwala's four-decade-long career is marked by significant contributions across various industries, particularly in nutraceuticals.

Mariwala holds the position of Executive Chairman and Managing Director of OmniActive Health Technologies Ltd. His array of leadership roles includes serving as Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry for Kerala and the Indian Pepper and Spice Trading Association.

In his inaugural address, Mariwala emphasized the IMC's role in India's economic growth, targeting the 'Viksit Bharat' agenda and promoting sustainable development through initiatives like Bharat Calling and sustainability conferences.
