Leading textile and fabric manufacturer Raymond has announced ambitious plans to expand its ethnic wear brand 'Ethnix by Raymond' by adding over 100 stores by fiscal 2025. This move, reported in the company's latest annual report, aims to further strengthen the brand's presence in the exponentially growing ethnic wear segment in India.

Ethnix, introduced a couple of years ago as a brand for occasions and celebrations, now boasts over 114 stores. According to Chairman and Managing Director Gautam Hari Singhania, the company is tapping into the glitzier Indian wedding market and expanding its store footprint across the country.

Raymond's Ethnix brand, which contributed significantly to the company's apparel segment revenue of Rs 1,587 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2024, will continue to grow. In FY24 alone, the brand added 53 stores. Looking ahead, Singhania confirmed that Raymond will open more stores and expand its ethnic line under the Ethnix brand.
