Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced on Friday that the state budget includes a provision of Rs 96,000 crore dedicated to farmers' welfare. This move aims to enhance the prosperity and standard of living for the agricultural community.

Speaking at a gratitude ceremony organized by a farmers' organization, Sharma detailed the BJP government's initiatives in the revised budget for 2024-25 that will benefit farmers. Key projects include the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) and the Yamuna Water Agreement to support the Shekhawati region.

The Chief Minister criticized the previous Congress administration for neglecting farmers' needs. He emphasized the government's commitment by increasing the Kisan Samman Nidhi, raising the MSP of wheat, and offering loans through the Gopal Credit Card for cattle rearers. Additional projects worth crores under various schemes were also highlighted.
