Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd Doubles Special Steel Manufacturing Capacity at Telangana Plant
Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) has doubled its special steel manufacturing capacity to 48,000 tonnes at its Telangana plant. The company inaugurated a new Galvanizing Iron unit for crash barrier production, reinforcing its industry leadership. VSTL also plans a third steel project in Odisha, increasing overall capacity to 3,41,000 tonnes.

Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) announced on Wednesday that it has doubled its special steel manufacturing capacity at its Telangana plant from 24,000 tonnes to 48,000 tonnes.
The company has also inaugurated a new Galvanizing Iron (GI) manufacturing unit in the state, aimed at boosting the production of crash barriers. These barriers are extensively used on medians, shoulders, verges, and high embankments, enhancing road safety.
According to Managing Director Vibhor Kaushik, the new state-of-the-art facility will not only strengthen the production and supply of crash barriers nationwide but also reinforce VSTL's position as a leader in the steel tubes and pipes industry.
Based in Haryana, VSTL operates two manufacturing units in Raigad, Maharashtra, and Mahbubnagar, Telangana, with a combined capacity of 2,21,000 tonnes per annum. The company is also setting up a third steel project in Odisha, which will increase its overall capacity to 3,41,000 tonnes.
