Madhya Pradesh welcomed investment proposals worth Rs 17,000 crore at the Regional Industry Conclave, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav revealed on Saturday. These investments are poised to establish large-scale units across the state.
One significant agreement includes an MoU for manufacturing tanks for the Army at Jabalpur's defence production units, currently engaged in howitzer production. Additionally, an ultra-modern skill development centre is set to bolster the textile and garment sector, promoting employment, especially among women.
The chief minister emphasized India's economic rise, surpassing the United Kingdom, and highlighted Madhya Pradesh's substantial growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Yadav also celebrated the inauguration of 67 industries with investments totaling Rs 1,500 crore, projected to create 4,500 jobs.
