Sharad Pawar Urges Unity for Maharashtra's Industrial Future

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar appealed for unity to make Maharashtra a premier destination for trade and industry during a party rally. He highlighted the industrial growth of areas like Pimpri-Chinchwad and noted the importance of continued development. Madhav Kinhalkar joined NCP (SP).

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday called on the people to unite and elevate Maharashtra to a premier destination for trade and industry. Speaking at a party rally in Pimpri-Chinchwad, he recounted the region's growth into an industrial hub thanks to initiatives by late chief minister Y B Chavan.

With assembly elections approaching in October, Pawar emphasized the importance of sustained development. He noted Pimpri-Chinchwad's evolution into an automobile hub and the rise of IT centres in areas like Hinjewadi and Chakan.

Pawar also welcomed Madhav Kinhalkar into the NCP (SP). Kinhalkar, a former minister of state for home and ex-Congress leader, represented Bhokar in Nanded district as an MLA and has a history with BJP.
