Hero MotoCorp Sets Sights on Electric Vehicle Dominance

Hero MotoCorp aims for leadership in the electric two-wheeler market by launching affordable models this fiscal year. The company plans to scale its electric vehicle business rapidly, expand international presence, and enhance its premium product portfolio, leveraging partnerships and its extensive market scale.

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to dominate the electric two-wheeler market with plans to introduce affordable models within the current fiscal year, according to CEO Niranjan Gupta.

In the company's Annual Report for 2023-24, Gupta detailed a strategic roadmap for rapidly expanding their electric vehicle business, both domestically and internationally.

Hero MotoCorp's electric range, which currently includes the VIDA V1 Pro, is set to grow with more mid-and affordable segment offerings. The company's collaboration with Ather Energy and Zero Motorcycle will further bolster their market presence, including a robust public-charging infrastructure and new EV motorcycles.
