Shakti Pumps on Monday reported a significant increase in its consolidated profit after tax, reaching Rs 92.6 crore during the June 2024 quarter, a substantial rise from Rs 1 crore in the same period last year. This growth is attributed to higher revenues and a healthy order book.

The company's revenue from operations climbed four-fold to Rs 567.6 crore, compared to Rs 113.1 crore in the year-ago quarter. As of June 2024, Shakti Pumps' order book stood at approximately Rs 2,000 crore.

Chairman Dinesh Patidar credited the robust start to FY25 to the swift execution of existing orders in both domestic and export markets. He also noted that the improvement in margins was due to a decline in raw material prices, alongside economies of scale from increased execution during the quarter.

Madhya Pradesh-based Shakti Pumps (India) manufactures solar pumps, energy-efficient stainless-steel submersible pumps, pressure booster pumps, pump motors, and other related products.
