Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal assured market stability under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA coalition government. Speaking at an event, Goyal expressed confidence that India would become a USD 5 trillion economy within the third term of the Modi administration.

Goyal affirmed that the coalition government is strong and aligned, eliminating worries of uncertainties. He emphasized the focus on national interests, combating corruption, and strengthening India's global position.

The minister highlighted India's aim to progress from a USD 3.5 trillion to a USD 5 trillion economy in the next three-and-a-half years, potentially becoming the world’s third-largest economy. Additionally, he noted the significant role capital markets will play in this growth trajectory.
