Lebanon's Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced a delay in the arrival of several incoming flights to Beirut, rescheduling them for Monday morning due to insurance concerns amid regional tensions.

Amidst escalating conflict, Israel promised swift retaliation against Hezbollah following the death of 12 children and teenagers in the Golan Heights. Hezbollah denied involvement, but exchanges of fire have continued, disrupting flights across the region.

MEA chairman Mohamad El-Hout told broadcaster Al-Jadeed that flight changes at Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport were due to insurance risks, not fears of direct attacks. The airport was similarly targeted during the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel, prompting concerns among passengers.
