BHEL Reports Increased Net Loss in June Quarter

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 211.40 crore for the June quarter, worsening from a loss of Rs 204.70 crore in the same period last year. Higher expenses contributed to the increased loss, despite a rise in total income.

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has announced a wider consolidated net loss of Rs 211.40 crore for the June quarter, driven by increased expenses.

This is a significant rise from the Rs 204.70 crore loss reported in the same period of the previous fiscal year, as per the company's latest exchange filing.

Despite the losses, BHEL's total income rose to Rs 5,581.78 crore from Rs 5,117.20 crore year-on-year, although expenses surged to Rs 5,874.98 crore, up from Rs 5,409.47 crore.
