In a display of social responsibility and community support, Hindu Anathasram Bettiah, an orphanage in India, hosted a heartwarming donation event on August 2. Organized by the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) in collaboration with Amit Khad Bij Bhandar, the event aimed to provide essential supplies to the children.
Starting at 3:00 PM, the event was led by Amit Kumar, head of the sponsoring company, with dedicated efforts from volunteers Rima Devi, Chanda Kumari, Chain Singh, and Anjani Kumari. They distributed a variety of essential items including school bags, pens, pencils, legumes, rice, wheat, sugar, biscuits, notebooks, milk powder, tea, soap, laundry detergent, and oil containers. These donations are expected to significantly improve the children's living conditions.
The atmosphere was vibrant as volunteers handed out supplies to the eager children. The event not only provided vital support but also fostered a sense of joy and pride among participants. Amit Kumar expressed his sentiments at the conclusion, stating, "I am very proud to help these children. I hope these supplies will make a tangible difference in their lives."
