IndiGo to Launch Business Class Seats on 12 Domestic Routes
IndiGo plans to introduce business class seats on 12 domestic routes starting mid-November. These seats will be available for booking from Tuesday, according to CEO Pieter Elbers. The introduction aims to cater to the busiest and business-oriented routes, including some from the national capital.
IndiGo, India's largest airline, is set to unveil business class seats on 12 domestic routes by mid-November. The seats will be available for booking starting Tuesday, according to IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers.
Elbers, speaking at an event marking the airline's 18th anniversary, said that the new seating options aim to serve both the busiest and most business-centric travel routes, including select flights departing from the national capital.
Additionally, the airline will roll out a customer loyalty initiative called 'IndiGo BluChip'. This move follows the May 23 announcement that indicated IndiGo's plans to venture into business class services, positioning itself against Air India, Air India Express, and Vistara, which currently offer similar premium seating.
