Top Executives to Testify in Boeing 737 MAX 9 Emergency Hearing

The National Transportation Safety Board announced a two-day hearing involving Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems executives regarding the January Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 in-flight door plug emergency. Executives like Elizabeth Lund and Doug Ackerman will testify, along with several Federal Aviation Administration officials.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is set to hold a two-day hearing starting Tuesday, focusing on the January in-flight door plug emergency involving an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9.

High-profile executives, including Boeing's senior vice president for quality, Elizabeth Lund, and vice president of supplier quality, Doug Ackerman, will testify. Additionally, Terry George, senior vice president and general manager for Boeing Program at Spirit AeroSystems, will be among those giving statements.

Several officials from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are also expected to provide testimony during this hearing, according to the NTSB.
