RITES and HUDCO Ink MoU to Boost Infrastructure Projects Nationwide

RITES, a Navratna transport infrastructure consultancy, and HUDCO have signed an MoU to collaborate on various infrastructure projects. Their focus includes sectors such as metro rail, airports, and waste management. The partnership aims to leverage RITES' extensive consultancy experience, benefiting projects financed by HUDCO.

RITES, a transport infrastructure consultancy and a Navratna central public sector enterprise, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) in Delhi, the company revealed in a stock exchange filing. The MoU will see RITES and HUDCO collaborating on an extensive array of consultancy projects, covering stages from the initial concept to final commissioning in the infrastructure sector. RITES will also offer consultancy services for projects funded by HUDCO.

This collaboration between two Navratna CPSEs will focus on an array of sectors, including metro rail, roads, airports, ports, ropeways, highways, underpasses, flyovers, and tunnels. They will explore emerging areas such as energy, water resources and hydropower, wastewater and waste management, as well as urban and industrial building design, commercial and institutional ventures, and other urban development and infrastructure-related initiatives. RITES stands as a major player in India's transport consultancy and engineering sector, boasting a Navratna status. The company offers a plethora of services and has a significant global footprint, having executed projects in over 55 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America, South America, and the Middle East over the past 50 years.

The newly formed partnership with HUDCO is set to harness RITES' wide-ranging expertise and experience to deliver all-encompassing consultancy services across various infrastructure projects, thereby augmenting projects financed by HUDCO.
