Reliance arm Jio Financial Services Ltd has introduced its JioFinance app in Paris, aiming to aid Indian travelers in making digital transactions within the French market, the company announced.
This app will support international payments for attractions like the Eiffel Tower and shopping at Parisian landmarks such as Galeries Lafayette. A dedicated experience center within 'India House' will facilitate user familiarization. 'India House' was created by Reliance Foundation in partnership with the Indian Olympic Association to showcase India's heritage and assist Indian visitors.
Jio Financial Services has collaborated with Visa, the official payments partner for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, to launch this app. This initiative aligns with the long-term goals of the Reliance Foundation and the Indian Olympic Association to enhance Indian athletes' performance, support national sports federations, and promote India as a future Olympic host.
Designed for seamless navigation, JioFinance offers a sophisticated digital experience, including instant UPI payments, digital banking, wallets, bill payments, and more. Launched in beta mode in May, the app aims to revolutionize daily finances and digital banking through its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features, including insurance advisory services.
