Indian stock markets commenced Friday's trading session with a remarkable rally, driven by a resurgence of buyers in both the Nifty and Sensex indices. The Nifty 50 index climbed by 1.12%, or 269.85 points, beginning the day at 19,386.85 points. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex saw an impressive surge of over 1,000 points, opening at 65,984.24, marking an increase of 1,098.02 points, or 1.69%.

"Asian markets opened stronger this morning. Indian markets have experienced over Rs 20,000 crores of FPI outflows in August so far. Fed Futures predict a 70% chance of a 50 bps rate cut on September 18th by the Fed. In India, the RBI has maintained its monetary policy stance," said Ajay Bagga, a banking and market expert, speaking to ANI. He further commented, "On Thursday, the broad-based rebound in US markets was led by tech and momentum stocks that had suffered previously. An international firm analyzed that around 75% of the global carry trade had reversed in recent market turmoil. As the selling pressure eases, buyers are expected to restore positive momentum in the markets."

In the broader market, early trading on Friday saw the Nifty Next 50 and Nifty 100 indices also rising by more than 1%. Other broad market indices reflected similar gains. Corporate news highlights include several companies, such as Bharat Dynamics, Aarti Industries, Berger Paints, and Sun TV Networks, set to announce their quarterly financial results today.

Global markets displayed optimism as well. On Thursday, U.S. stocks surged following better-than-expected jobless claims data. The Nasdaq Composite rose by 2.87%, the S&P 500 gained 2.30%, and the Dow Jones increased by 1.76%. In Asia, mixed performances were noted, with Japan's Nikkei 225 up by 1.97%, South Korea's KOSPI rising by 1.48%, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index climbing by 1.93%.

On Thursday, domestic indices had declined following the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) monetary policy announcement. The Sensex dropped 581.79 points to 78,886.22, while the Nifty 50 closed lower by 180.50 points, or 0.74%, at 24,117.00.
