New Delhi [India], August 10: Hobit has rebranded itself as Hobfit, marking a significant shift in its focus toward empowering women in achieving their fitness goals and addressing hormonal disorders. The rebranding highlights the company's commitment to offering a holistic health solution through advanced science, AI-powered workouts, diet consultations, community support, and teleconsultations.

Originally founded in June 2020 by Gaurav Dua, Arpit Tyagi, and Lakshay Rohilla, Hobit initially catered to the hobbies industry. However, the co-founders recognized a rising demand for comprehensive health solutions and pivoted toward personalized fitness programs and wellness support for women. In India, nearly 20% of women suffer from undiagnosed Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), adding to the healthcare market's value of $372 billion domestically and $6.75 trillion globally.

Hobfit now serves over 500,000 users across seven countries, addressing a range of lifestyle diseases such as PCOD/PCOS, hypertension, thyroid issues, pre- and post-pregnancy support, cholesterol management, and diabetes management. Co-founder and CEO Gaurav Dua explained, 'We saw a profound need for accessible health and wellness solutions, especially for women. The transition to Hobfit will help bridge the gap in support and education.' Co-founders Arpit Tyagi and Lakshay Rohilla echoed this sentiment, aiming to reach 1 million women across India by 2025. Industry stalwarts and investors back Hobfit, including Stoffer Anko Norden and Douglas Penny.
