In the wake of a critical report by US-based short seller Hindenburg Research, capital markets regulator SEBI has announced that it has thoroughly investigated all allegations against the Adani group.

SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch has made necessary disclosures, stepping aside in cases involving potential conflicts of interest, the regulator confirmed in a statement.

SEBI stated that it is nearing the conclusion of its 26th and final investigation into the allegations. Both Buch and her husband Dhaval have called the accusations unfounded, alleging that Hindenburg is targeting the capital markets regulator's credibility and attempting character assassination.
