Valor Estate Eyes Rs 6,000 Crore Revenue Despite Net Loss
Realty firm Valor Estate Ltd reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 13.60 crore in Q1 due to higher expenses but is optimistic about Rs 6,000 crore revenue from joint ventures with L&T Realty and Lodha Group. Realty firm Valor Estate Ltd has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 13.60 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year, attributed to higher expenses. Despite the setback, the company projects Rs 6,000 crore revenue from joint developments with L&T Realty and Lodha Group.
The net loss for the same period last year stood at Rs 22.54 crore. Total income saw a significant rise, increasing to Rs 93.12 crore in the April-June period of this fiscal year from Rs 8.69 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, as per regulatory filings on August 13. Concurrently, total expenses escalated to Rs 108.99 crore, up from Rs 33.06 crore.
Valor Estate Ltd, formerly DB Realty Ltd, boasts a portfolio of 100 million square feet of real estate and is focused on both residential and commercial markets. Vice Chairman and Managing Director Shahid Balwa emphasized the company's strategic partnerships and plans for expansion. He noted potential revenue from the company's 15.5 million square feet of saleable residential properties and 2.3 million square feet of commercial space could reach Rs 13,650 crore.
