Adani Group Sees Record Profit Surge in June Quarter

In a remarkable financial performance, Billionaire Gautam Adani's ports-to-energy conglomerate reported a 33% surge in pre-tax profit for the June quarter. This robust growth is attributed to strong performances in both core infrastructure and emerging businesses, which span sectors like solar manufacturing and airports.
The group's EBITDA for April-June surged by 32.87% year-on-year to Rs 22,570 crore, achieving a trailing twelve-month EBITDA of Rs 79,180 crore—a 45.13% increase over the previous year. Group net profits soared over 50% to Rs 10,279 crore in the same period.
Adani's core infrastructure and utility businesses, which include Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, and Adani Ports & SEZ, played a crucial role in driving this impressive performance. Emerging businesses like Adani New Industries Ltd also contributed significantly, with segmental EBITDA rising 70% to Rs 2,991 crore.
