Tamil Nadu Unveils Major Investment Projects, Aims for $1 Trillion Economy by 2030

Tamil Nadu has secured investments totaling Rs 9 lakh crore and created 31 lakh new jobs over the last three years, Chief Minister M K Stalin announced on Wednesday.
In a precursor to his upcoming visit to the United States, Stalin unveiled new projects valued at Rs 68,773 crore, expected to generate 1 lakh jobs in the state. He emphasized the significance of this day in Tamil Nadu's industrial history at the Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave.
The new projects include 19 initiatives worth Rs 17,616 crore and 28 more valued at Rs 51,157 crore. 'If industry grows, the state prospers,' said Stalin, extending his gratitude to industrialists. Minister for Industries TRB Rajaa highlighted the continuous follow-up on investment commitments.
