Adani Group Spurs Economic Growth with Major Projects in Madhya Pradesh
Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, announced new projects in Madhya Pradesh, including a cement grinding unit and a propellant production facility, totaling an investment of Rs 3,500 crore and creating over 3,500 jobs. The Adani Group also plans a women-run jacket production center.

Adani Group is set to develop a 2 million tonne per annum cement grinding unit in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, as announced by Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited. Additionally, the group is planning a state-of-the-art propellant production facility at Shivpuri.
These projects are strategically in line with the Aatmanirbharta mission, aiming to transform India from a defense importer to a defense exporter. With a cumulative investment of Rs 3,500 crore, these initiatives are expected to generate over 3,500 direct and indirect jobs, Adani noted during the 2024 Regional Industrial Conclave in Gwalior, attended by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Karan Adani emphasized the role of leaders like Dr. Mohan Yadav in driving economic progress at the state level. He highlighted that the Adani Group has already invested Rs 18,250 crore in Madhya Pradesh, creating 12,000 jobs across various sectors. Gwalior, in particular, is evolving into an economic hub, thanks to multiple Adani projects, including India's largest small arms plant.
Furthermore, Adani announced a new jacket production center to be established in Badarwas, exclusively managed by women. Through the Adani foundation, the group has positively impacted 80,000 households and reached 300,000 lives across Madhya Pradesh via initiatives in healthcare, education, sustainable livelihoods, and women empowerment.
