In a significant leadership change, GE Power India has appointed Puneet Bhatla as its new Managing Director, starting from September 1, 2024. The announcement came through a regulatory filing on Thursday.
Alongside this appointment, Ashutosh Gupta (Executive - Sourcing) and Raj Raman (Executive - Project Portfolio), as well as Bhatla himself, will no longer hold positions in the senior management of the company. This organizational overhaul highlights the company's strategic shift aimed at bolstering business operations.
The appointment of Bhatla as Managing Director is subject to the approval of the company's members. Consequently, he will not be classified under the 'senior management' category according to current listing regulations.
