LIDE Expands to India: Bridging Business Leaders Globally
LIDE, Latin America's largest business leaders organization, has launched its first office in India, aiming to strengthen trade relations and foster collaboration between Brazilian and Indian companies. Founded in Brazil in 2003, LIDE promotes responsible economic growth and international partnerships.

LIDE, the largest business leaders organization in Latin America, has inaugurated its first office in India, located in Mumbai, aiming to strengthen trade relations between the two emerging markets. This move makes Mumbai LIDE's 43rd global office.
With a presence in over 20 countries, LIDE represents more than 2,000 large-cap companies across 34 economic sectors. The organization will prioritize collaboration in sectors such as agribusiness, technology, infrastructure, energy, and innovation. Currently, Brazil stands as India's largest trading partner in Latin America, with bilateral trade touching nearly USD 12 billion in 2023.
João Doria, Founder and Co-chairman of LIDE, emphasized that the new office will accelerate business opportunities and strengthen economic ties between India and Brazil. He noted India's potential to emerge as one of the top three global economies by 2030, creating significant opportunities for bilateral trade growth.
