Amazon India and Startup India Join Forces to Empower Startups

Amazon India, in collaboration with Startup India and DPIIT, is providing Indian startups with e-commerce opportunities. The partnership enables market access, mentorship, and logistics support through Amazon's services. Special emphasis is placed on empowering women entrepreneurs via Amazon's Saheli programme.

Amazon India is teaming up with Startup India, supported by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), to fuel startup growth through e-commerce platforms. This initiative allows eligible startups to explore vast market opportunities through Amazon India's marketplace.

The collaboration offers startups a chance to delve into the domestic market with access to valuable mentorship, logistics guidance, and go-to-market assistance from seasoned Amazon leaders. Additionally, select women entrepreneurs will receive empowerment through Amazon's Saheli programme.

The initiative also promotes the BHASKAR platform, part of the Startup India initiative, aiming to streamline collaboration among startups, investors, mentors, and government bodies. Launched in January 2016, Startup India is India's flagship programme fostering a robust startup ecosystem.
