Swan's Shipyard, a subsidiary of Swan Energy Limited, has announced the appointment of Rear Admiral (Retd) Vipin Kumar Saxena as its new Chief Executive Officer. Saxena, who boasts over 37 years of service in the Indian Navy, will spearhead the shipyard's operations, focusing on growth and modernization.
Saxena's extensive experience in the maritime sector, particularly in shipbuilding and defense, will be essential in driving innovation at the shipyard. 'His expertise will be invaluable as we aim to become a global hub in shipbuilding,' said Vivek Merchant, the director of Swan's Shipyard.
Saxena previously served as Chairman and Managing Director of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, leading strategic growth initiatives. His appointment comes at a crucial time as Swan's Shipyard seeks to strengthen India's shipbuilding capabilities amid its transformation journey.
