Tragedy Strikes Wedding Party in Sindh Collision

A devastating road accident on the National Highway in Sindh, Pakistan, resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals, including eight family members, as a bus carrying a wedding party collided with a trailer. The accident highlighted ongoing issues with road safety and inadequate infrastructure in the region.

Twelve lives were tragically lost when a bus carrying a wedding party collided with a trailer on Pakistan's National Highway in Sindh province. The incident occurred on a return journey from Hyderabad on Monday night.

Deputy Commissioner Arsalan Saleem confirmed the grim details, noting that eight of the victims belonged to the family of a well-known doctor. A young girl who was severely injured succumbed to her injuries in Karachi the following morning.

The driver responsible for the collision fled, capturing the systemic dangers of reckless driving and deteriorating road conditions which plague the country. Five critically injured passengers have been transferred to specialized hospitals in Nawabshah and Karachi for urgent care.
