Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has launched a new health insurance product called M-Care which covers seven major vector-borne diseases namely Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya, Kala-azar, Japanese Encephalitis, Filariasis and Zika Virus, the company said.
Designed to be a benefit policy, it offers various coverage options that range between Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh at a premium between Rs 160 to Rs 3,000.
The product offers cover in major countries across the world, the diagnosis and treatment is payable in 37 listed countries such as USA, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Canada, Dubai, Hong Kong and the countries of EU.

Max Life launches InstaClaim to settle claims up to Rs 50 lakh
* Max Life Insurance has launched InstaClaim, an initiative that endeavours to pay death claims in just one day for policies up to Rs 50 lakh where all minimum mandatory documents are received.
Death claims shall be eligible for InstaClaim provided the policy duration is more than three continuous years and it does not warrant any further verification, the company said.
Over the years, Max Life Insurance has been able to consistently improve its claims paid ratio due to deployment of predictive analytics based underwriting models and robust fraud management enabled by digitization of forensic controls, it said.
