Patel Engineering Ltd announced a robust 14.49% increase in its consolidated net profit, totaling Rs 80.24 crore for the quarter ending December 2024. This growth was driven by a rise in total income to Rs 1,265 crore, compared to Rs 1,076 crore during the corresponding period last year.
The company's expenses increased to Rs 1,125 crore from Rs 1,030.94 crore in the third quarter of the previous fiscal year. The executive team, led by MD Kavita Shirvaikar, expressed excitement about the future, citing a strong foundation and plans to enhance operational capabilities and expand the project portfolio.
Despite the competitive market, Patel Engineering maintains a robust order book of Rs 16,396.4 crore as of December 31, 2024. Known for its expertise in tunnels and underground works for hydroelectric projects, the Mumbai-based EPC firm remains optimistic about the next phase of growth.
