Ashok Leyland Ltd, the commercial vehicle manufacturer, reported a surge in its consolidated net profit by 34.63% to Rs 819.67 crore for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024, propelled largely by robust sales in international markets.
The company noted an all-time high in Q3 revenue and profits, driven by strong exports and positive momentum in commercial vehicle demand. While domestic MHCV volume showed a slight dip, international sales grew significantly by 33%.
Looking ahead, Ashok Leyland remains optimistic about further growth, spurred by ongoing investments in electric and alternative fuel vehicles, and expanding market penetration in ASEAN regions.
