Polyplastics Co., Ltd., a leader in engineering plastics, has unveiled PLASTRON (R) LFT RA627P, an innovative composite aimed at reducing environmental impact. The material combines polypropylene resin with long cellulose fiber, resulting in a product with notable ecological benefits.

With a density 10% lower than its short glass fiber-reinforced counterpart, the PLASTRON (R) promises a decrease in carbon footprint by approximately 30%. This balance of high specific rigidity and excellent damping properties makes it ideal for a wide array of applications, including audio equipment components.

Driving sustainability forward, Polyplastics is also working on new grades featuring recycled polypropylene, aiming to further reduce their ecological footprint while catering to evolving market demands.
