On Thursday, major aerospace and defense companies, including Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Safran, and Collins Aerospace, announced plans to significantly increase sourcing from India. The announcement was made at a panel during the Global Investors' Meet - Invest Karnataka 2025.
Executives expressed strong confidence in India's capabilities to contribute to the global supply chain, noting significant progress in recent years. Airbus stated its supply chain contribution from India has doubled in just five years, now exceeding a billion euros annually.
Officials from Rolls-Royce and Safran echoed intentions to enhance their partnerships, with ambitions to double regional sourcing in the next five years. This underscores India's growing influence in the aerospace sector's global supply chain.
