The initial public offering (IPO) of Quality Power Electrical Equipments Ltd experienced strong interest on its first day, achieving 62% subscription overall.

Data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) reveals the IPO drew bids for over 69 lakh shares against its offering of 1.11 crore shares. Non-institutional investors showed an 82% subscription rate, while the category for Retail Individual Investors was subscribed 57%. Qualified Institutional Buyers accounted for 54% of subscriptions.

With a total issue size of ₹859 crore, the IPO includes a fresh issuance of equity shares valued at up to ₹225 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 1.5 crore shares pegged at ₹634 crore. Proceeds from the fresh issuance will be directed towards acquisitions, capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives. The company's shares are set to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and NSE.
