AYDA Awards 2024: Celebrating India's Emerging Design Talents

Nippon Paint India’s Decorative Division recently held the grand finale of the 2024 AYDA Awards at VIT University, celebrating the prowess of emerging architectural and interior design talents from across the nation. The prestigious event, which took place on February 15, 2025, saw Sanya Gupta and Yuktha K honored as the gold winners.

Since its inception in 2008, the AYDA platform has been instrumental in supporting young architects and designers, offering valuable mentorship and stimulating cross-learning. This year’s theme, 'CONVERGE,' encouraged participants to align personal design interests with pressing global challenges, pushing them to innovate beyond traditional boundaries.

The occasion was graced by an esteemed panel of industry experts, who praised the commitment of Nippon Paint to nurturing young talent. Mahesh Anand, President of Decorative Division, emphasized the importance of converging passion with purpose, while VIT University’s Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy lauded the impactful collaboration and the potential of the contestants to blaze new trails in design.
