The incident occurred near Barla village as the bus with 80 passengers headed towards Datiyana village in Uttarakhand. Circle Officer Rajukumar Sav indicated a swift police response to manage the situation.

Following the accident, the injured were promptly transported to a hospital, and road traffic was soon restored. Authorities confirmed that the conditions of the injured are stable, providing relief amid the unfortunate circumstances.
