SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch has declared that there's 'no need' for the capital markets regulator to comment on the recent declines in small and midcap stocks.

Referencing her March statement on high valuations in these stocks, Buch emphasized that SEBI's concerns were previously flagged when deemed necessary.

Currently voicing its discretion at an AMFI event, SEBI refrains from further commentary despite the bear market condition affecting small to midcap stocks.
