PM Modi to Disburse 19th PM-KISAN Instalment of Rs 22,000 Crore to Farmers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 19th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, facilitating the transfer of approximately Rs 22,000 crore directly into the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers across India. This move is designed to bolster farmer incomes and ease agricultural expenditure.

Each year, the PM-KISAN scheme provides beneficiaries with Rs 6,000 disbursed in three instalments. The upcoming release will bring the total disbursement under the scheme to Rs 3.68 lakh crore. The announcement was made by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during a press conference.

The event in Bhagalpur will include the inauguration of a dairy processing unit and a centre of excellence under the Gokul Mission. Additionally, the event will feature participation from Bihar's Governor, Chief Minister, and other state ministers.
