Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Pilgrims in Madhya Pradesh
A fatal road accident occurred on National Highway-30 in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district. An SUV returning from Maha Kumbh collided with a parked truck, resulting in three deaths and seven injuries. The incident happened due to the driver reportedly dozing off. Injured victims are hospitalized.

In a tragic incident, three men lost their lives and seven others sustained injuries in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district. The accident transpired when the group's sports utility vehicle (SUV) collided with a parked truck on National Highway-30, as they were returning from the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, according to police reports on Tuesday.
The accident, which occurred approximately 40 km from the Rewa district headquarters at around 10:30 pm on Monday, was reportedly due to the driver falling asleep at the wheel, said Varsha Sonkar, the Mangawa police station house officer. The SUV, hired for the pilgrimage trip, was en route to Sehore district when the tragedy struck.
The collision resulted in the immediate death of three men, aged between 40 and 50 years, who are yet to be identified. Such was the impact that the SUV was left completely mangled. The remaining injured passengers have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
