Train Derailed: Nilokheri's Close Call

A passenger train derailed in Nilokheri, Haryana, but all passengers were unharmed. The train was traveling from Kurukshetra to Delhi when a technical issue is suspected to have caused a bogie wheel to come off the tracks. Rail traffic was temporarily disrupted.

A derailment in Haryana's Karnal district left a passenger train stranded at Nilokheri railway station on Tuesday. Fortunately, all passengers remain safe and uninjured.

The incident occurred as the train, en route from Kurukshetra to Delhi, traveled just 100 meters from the station. The fourth bogie's wheel dislodged, halting the journey immediately.

Officials suspect a technical issue and have engaged a Railway technical team to investigate. Rail service disruptions were temporary, expected to resume shortly.
