In a groundbreaking strategy shift, the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd (TRIFED) has forged a strategic partnership with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Ltd (HPMC). This collaboration aims to boost tribal business through a newly adopted B2B marketing strategy.

Marked by signing Memoranda of Understanding in New Delhi, during the 'Aadi Mahotsav' festival, the agreements signify a major advancement in promoting tribal products. The event saw the presence of TRIFED's Managing Director Ashish Chatterjee and NIFT's Director General Tanu Kashyap. The initiative aims to enhance the design and marketability of tribal handicrafts and handlooms.

Additionally, the partnership with HPMC is set to introduce advanced technology for horticultural and minor forest products. Inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu, the festival brought together key figures, including Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram. The effort underscores TRIFED's commitment to tribal socio-economic development.
