Shruti Shibulal Makes Strategic Rs 494 Crore Infosys Investment

Shruti Shibulal, daughter of Infosys' co-founder, purchased Rs 494 crore worth of Infosys shares. In an open market transaction, she acquired nearly 3 million shares at Rs 1,657 each. Simultaneously, Gaurav Manchanda, related to the Shibulal family, sold the same amount. Infosys shares dropped 2.02% that day.

Shruti Shibulal, daughter of Infosys co-founder and former CEO SD Shibulal, made a significant investment by purchasing shares worth Rs 494 crore from the IT major through an open market transaction.

According to data from the National Stock Exchange, Shruti, a key promoter of Infosys, acquired 29,84,057 shares of the company based in Bengaluru. Each share was bought at an average price of Rs 1,657, culminating in a transaction value of Rs 494.46 crore.

In a parallel move, Gaurav Manchanda, a family member of SD Shibulal, sold an identical number of shares at the same price point. On the same day, Infosys shares experienced a 2.02% decline, closing at Rs 1,667 on the NSE.
