Himachal Pradesh's Economic Surge: Growth, Income & Tourism Thriving in 2024-25

Himachal Pradesh has exhibited a robust economic performance with a growth rate of 6.7% in 2024-25, according to the Economic Survey presented by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
The state's Gross Domestic Product at constant prices is estimated at Rs 1,46,553 crore, showing a significant rise from the previous fiscal year. The per capita income also witnessed a 9.6% surge to Rs 2,57,212.
The tertiary sector's contribution to Gross Value Addition (GVA) was notable, with tourism reaching pre-pandemic levels of 181.24 lakh visitors. Inflation rates have stabilized, showing a drop in both rural and urban areas.
