Rajasthan's Investment Surge: A 2023-24 Success Story
Rajasthan has seen a substantial increase in investment proposals, rising from Rs 1.59 crore in the previous year to Rs 2.86 crore in 2023-24. This growth has been highlighted in a report by the MSME Export Promotion Council. The industry sector contributed significantly to the state's GSVA.

Rajasthan's investment landscape saw a remarkable upswing in 2023-24, with new proposals reaching Rs 2.86 crore, up from Rs 1.59 crore the prior year, according to the MSME Export Promotion Council's report.
Presented by chairman D S Rawat, the report, "Investment, Development and Growth in Progressive Rajasthan 2020-21 to 2023-24," showcases completed investment projects worth Rs 51,780 crore in 2023-24, compared to Rs 41,015 crore the year before.
The report recommends forming a high-powered committee to expedite ongoing projects and mitigate cost escalations. The industry sector, seeing 12.43% growth, contributed 28.21% to the state's GSVA, with engineering goods, gems and jewellery among top exports.
