An IndiGo aircraft en route from the national capital to Guwahati faced an unexpected challenge when it aborted landing due to a sudden change in wind direction, said a passenger on board.
The A321 aircraft, operating as flight 6E 2038, was prepared for descent when the pilots decided to take off again in response to the wind shift. The captain later explained the situation to passengers, reassuring them of their safety.
After a brief delay, the flight successfully touched down at Guwahati airport at approximately 12:51 PM. IndiGo has not issued a statement concerning the incident.
