A devastating road accident occurred on Tarn Taran road in Amritsar, resulting in four fatalities and six injuries. The collision involved an overloaded auto-rickshaw and a car, police reported on Thursday.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural), Maninder Singh, the intense impact severely damaged the auto-rickshaw, which was carrying nine people at the time, leaving four dead.
Among the injured are two children, aged 13 and 12, and three women, who were promptly admitted to a nearby hospital. The car, which was also damaged, had the driver as its lone occupant, who sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
