The Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus, carrying 29 people, including the driver and conductor, was en route to Durgapur from Sarkaghat when the accident occurred at 10.30 am near Tarangla. Immediate reactions from local residents led to a swift police and medical response.

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, overseeing the transport department, visited the accident site and various hospitals, ensuring victims received optimal medical care.
