LT Foods Ltd, an FMCG giant, announced a significant 8.5% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 168.50 crore for the June quarter, attributed to improved margins and wider distribution. This growth comes as a part of the company's ongoing efforts to strengthen its market presence.

Compared to the same period last year, the firm's profits have shown impressive gains, rising from Rs 155.28 crore. Revenue from operations reached Rs 2,463.91 crore, marking a 19% increase, a clear indicator of successful strategic initiatives by LT Foods, the owner of popular basmati rice brands Daawat and Royal.

Total expenses for the company also rose by 20.5%, amounting to Rs 2,278.84 crore in the current fiscal's first quarter. Despite this, LT Foods showcased strong financial health, with total income reaching Rs 2,500.98 crore. Shares of the company saw a marginal increase, settling at Rs 491.15 on the BSE.
