Nepal is poised to engage in high-level dialogue with India to tackle existing trade barriers during Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli's upcoming visit to New Delhi, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari announced.
Addressing an event by the Nepal Freight Forwarders Association celebrating the 31st Cargo Day in Kathmandu, Bhandari stated that discussions would focus on trade promotion among other critical issues. He emphasized the Ministry's commitment to enhancing trade ties with India and China, Nepal's primary markets.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Chhetri indicated that Prime Minister Oli will journey to India in mid-September, although exact dates and details of the agenda remain under review.
