In a recent development, shares of Tech Mahindra experienced a downward trend, dropping almost 2% in early trading on Wednesday. This decline follows the announcement of a 4.44% decrease in net profit for the September quarter, totaling Rs 1,194.5 crore.

Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) reflected this dip, with stock prices falling to Rs 1,440.90 and Rs 1,440.40, respectively. Compared to the same period last year, this profit figure is still below the Rs 1,250 crore previously reported, although slightly above the preceding June quarter's Rs 1,141 crore.

Despite the profit setback, Tech Mahindra's revenue saw a positive shift, rising to Rs 13,995 crore from Rs 13,313 crore a year earlier. CEO Mohit Joshi highlighted that the decline in their key communication sector and in the Americas was counteracted by gains in manufacturing and the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sectors.
